Thai Cuisine was where I decided to go get Thai food during my week in Key West. Not bad restaurant, but not good food. The atmosphere and setup is very nice. The waitress was very nice and I did like the patio and setup but the food could have been a lot better. The food had no spice, it didn't taste like thai food I'm used to, and I did not see one asian person in the whole place, probably explains for the lack of taste in the food. I would not recommend Thai Cuisine to someone who has had great and authentic Thai food before.

Looking around for a nice place in KW, we landed upon Thai Cuisine as a safe bet for vegetarian friendly options.. A block away from Duval, its got a nice inviting patio setup on the street corner. I am really surprised to see the reviews here being as negative as they are, read on. The menu has a good number of choices, including all the usual curries and noodle dishes.. We tried the pad thai, red and yellow curries. Medium spicy was just perfect for our taste buds seasoned to spicy Indian food, although the pad thai tasted more sweet than spicy. The portions were plentiful and just the tonic we needed after a long day of biking all around KW (DO NOT forget to do this when in KW!) and taking in the beautiful sunset. It is a tad higher on the prices than the usual Thai menu, but the ambiance and food is well worth the vacation spending. Early-summer-day dinner + outside seating + cool breeze = great times!

Service - iffy Thai food - so so Sushi - it's ok, but you don't have many other options in the area, so you'll deal. If this restaurant were anywhere else it would bomb

My wife and I were quite hungry and upset we couldn't get the lunch we had planned, due to the fish taco stand being closed. Both of us love Thai food and decided to give the place a try. We read the menu on the sidewalk stand and were desperate to eat. Most of the normal Thai dishes are on the menu. However, what showed up was not Thai food. We ordered Fried Rice with Pineapple along with soup. The rice was stale and not really even fried in a wok. The dish had no spice or flavoring at all. It was like someone took last night's rice mixed it up in a bowl with pineapple and served. My wife is Filipino and we cook together often. We were amazed at the total lack of flavor. Even the pineapple appeared as if taken straight from the can and mixed into the rice. I think you would be better off if you passed by this establishment and spent your money on hotdogs from the gas station. When the soup came out it was terrible. There was way too much coconut milk and was not even warm. It was more like pure coconut milk soup with a shrimp dropped in with a couple of mushrooms then popped in microwave for 30 seconds and served. Ugh. I have been coming to Key West since the early eighties and this was probably the worst meal I have had in Key West. Save your money for booze.

Nothing like some great Thai food while vacationing in Key West. Wait!!! Really... That's exactly what I thought when my husband and I ventured away from the hustle and bustle of Duval Street and found a small out of the way restaurant on a quiet street. We were a little wary at first, since Thai Cuisine was off the path. But were extremely overjoyed at the fact that meals were quite tasty. I ordered the from the sushi menu (which is extensive) and enjoyed every bit of my meal. The food is fresh, inexpensive and delicious. The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful in providing you recommendations. If you are ever in Key West and are looking to get away from the madness that is Duval Street, just walk a few blocks down to Thai Cuisine and enjoy a great meal.

Pathetic is the only word I have for the food here. I love Thai food and know what good Thai is and this not NOT even Thai... It was shit loads of crap!!! Pleeeeeeeeeez do not eat here. I made the mistake of not listening to the other reviews... You don't have to.

I used to be in Key West once a week for work and this restaurant was always one of my favorite lunch venues. The restaurant is tucked away from the Duval Street "stuff", but within easy reach. It can be described as a hole inthe wall place, far from a white cloth venue, however, what it lacks in class it makes up for in it's food! I'm happy to say the food had remained consistently good even if other elements haven't. Service isn't a strong point, the staff go through the motions but don't expect to be wow'd. I will be back, if no other reason but for more of the Chicken Panang!

This was hard to select a start rating based on my experience. I will start with the good. The food was very very tasty. I had the pad thai and it was great! My brother had sushi and he said it was great as well. It is off the beaten path and has a small area inside to escape the heat. The bad. The service was unacceptable. On the menu on the very front it say a 18% gratuity "may" be added. We ordered and the food came prompt. However that was it. I had to get up too get my drink refills and had to get up and ask for my check. Another worker come up too the table and said our server was busy with a large party and would be there soon. We waited and waited and she finally came and brought the check. And discreetly wrote on the handwritten bill was the gratuity. It was not worth waiting on her to come back to argue so I just left cash and left. Too bad I would not go back because of this. In this like most circumstances... service is very very important.

Over priced and below average Thai food. We were charged 17% gratuity for a party of two!!!!!!!!

First allow me to say that just a few short weeks ago this place was my FAVORITE rest. on the island. I would eat here at least once a week, often more for the past 4 years or more. I was concerned with my last 3 visits, as they were all bad. For example, the Nam Sod salad had changed. The pork pieces had grown in size, and the pork flavor masked all other flavors in the dish. And the peanuts were no longer deeply roasted. Knowing that every place in Key West, even the top rest. can muck things up from time to time, I shrugged it off. I should have caught on when I no longer saw most of the familiar faces sitting in the tables next to me, as this is/was a very popular place for lunch with the locals of Key West. Yesterdays experience was the straw that broke the proverbial camel's back and left us asking for the owner to come to the table to explain the crap that was presented to my date and me, only to learn that the old owner has sold the biz, and a new crew was cooking. So that explained my last 3 bad experiences, but did not explain why they brought out pork dumplings when we ordered vegetable, only to return with soggy, mushy tasteless "dumplings" that we sent back. That did not explain the second dish...the larb gai salad (I wish I took a picture). It was accompanied with a gritty sandpaper mouth feel...and upon closer inspection we noticed that none of the dry spices had been broken down. The salad was not edible. The delicious mix of lime and spices were not present...just a salty sandy tasting salad. I told the server this, and she said nothing. My date then asked her to have the owner come to our table...a woman we know and love. That is when we were told that the place had sold. The new owner did not come to the table, nor would they take the dish off our bill. I said cancel our meal, and they instead brought it to our table in to go boxes...and tried to pour my dates shrimp curry in a folding plastic container... which I stopped her from doing and asked for a container with a lid that sealed. I thought I might be on Candid Camera, or Punked or some such program...but no camera crew came forward...only our silent server who presented us with the full bill. I should have refused to pay, but realized that it would not be worth the hassle I would have had to cause. And I wanted out of there as fast as possible. If you are like me, and loved the Thai Cuisine of old, then you are in for a rude awakening. I will not return to this establishment while it is being run into the ground by the current owners. If you don't believe me, then by all means go find out for yourself. Don't say you were not warned.

Not the best food or dining experience in Key West. The service was slow and poor and the food was average at best. Many of the waiters are Russian and lack a certain attitude that one expects at a restaurant in America.
(2)
Beth D.
Sushi roll was good Pad Thai chicken n shrimp dry but still good flavor. Waitress very indiferant to us. Almost like she was not quite there The strangest most atypical KW experience yet. However other waitstaff looked normal. Ps. They added a 17% gratuity on a party of two. Seriously??? maybe its because so of the foreign travelers dont tip the waitstaff....
(3)
Daniel S.
What's wrong with that waitress? She asked us what to drink and then never spoke to us anymore. We actually found it funny that she walked to our table and looked at us without a word. We told her what we charge wanted and she walked away, still, no words at all. Oh Wait, this restaurant charge a 18% gratuity, what can I do!
(1)
Stephen P.
This place is fairly inexpensive, but that's about all it has going for it. And even that is tempered by the automatic 18% gratuity added to every meal for decent, at best, service. To be fair, the appetizers were good and though the service was a bit lacking, the food got my hopes up. When an uninspiring Thai curry dish came, though, those hopes were dashed. For a meal with a "double spicy" notation in the menu, I was expecting a lot more in the way of taste. The curry was rather watery and severely lacking taste, with really no signs of spice. The chicken was okay, but the curry made it hard to enjoy. I didn't have the sushi or anything else on the menu, so if you're going for that, feel free ignore to my warning. Based on what I had, though, my one visit will be my last.

Be prepared to wait for an hour. Really slow service. We waited for 50 mins at 9:30 pm at night.

We were soo disapointed. We ordered a traditional thai soup that's supposed to come with chicken and coconut milk. The chicken was there and the water..that's it. We also ordered the sushi and sashimi combo. It was alright. The pieces were cut way too thick for our taste.

I was a bit skeptical at first with toursit traps on every corner, but Thai Cuisine proved to be a very good choice. My friends and I took advantage of the outdoor seating and enjoyed a very good meal. Being skeptical, I stuck to the basics and ordered the Vegetarian Pad Thai, which was pleasantly spicy! My friends seemed to enjoy their sushi (which was ordered from an extensive list), in which I always steer clear. Good experience all around.

I was excited to eat here with my husband while we were away after reading about this restaurant in the travel book we borrowed from the library. However I should have checked yelp first. When we sat down and I checked into the restaurant on YELP's mobile app I saw a low number of stars. My food was okay. The vegetable pad thai was okay, the crab rangoon appetizers were alright too. My husband didn't like his food he said it was not the kind of pang curry he was used to and that they made it way too spicy. He actually had to ask me for my white rice which I wasn't eating just so he can have extra white rice to absorb the spiciness of this food. The green tea was not very good at all and our waiter was an amusing possibly fake french men. Don't ask me why an elegant maitre d' type french men would make sense in a thai restaurant. He was a decent server though. The outdoor seating on a quiet side street was a plus but if we get a chance to go back to Key West we probably wouldn't eat here again.

Great food, great service, nice atmosphere - outside with good people-watching. Plus, I left my credit card there and when I called they were very nice and willing to mail it to me.

Honestly, it was the only place that was open and we were starving. Why does everything in Key West close so early? Everything was just average to less than average. Maybe because we sat towards the end of the night? We were told basically to order because the cook had to go home. Really? Never again.
(2)
Ilona P.
Service was ok. Food was a bit salty. But the part that made me angry: a 17% gratuity added on to the bill! There were only 2 of us and the check was on about $52. Bulls**t! I'm never going back.
(1)
Jacob S.
Very iffy. I had shrimp fried rice and it was tasteless. Good portions, hefty prices, decent location. Thai iced tea was frozen? It did not say frozen or slush on the menu. Nice atmosphere. Outdoor seating gets a lot of street noise, including cars, drunk people, and wind. The door to the kitchen creaks. It gets really annoying if you are seated near it. Tacky advertisements for other restaurants on the tables. I would skip this place and go to one of the many other restaurants in this central part of Key West. Edit: Review went down to 1 star when I saw 17% gratuity was added to the check as a mandatory fee. My party was not even over 5. Tacky.

This is some expensive sushi, but man it was good. I mean I expect the high prices because we are right in the heart of Key West, but wow. If you go here, expect to pay at least $12 for a good roll of sushi. However, it will be worth it because it was very delicious.
(3)

Food was ok, Service was ok, but they have a forced gratuity which i think is cheating. i should have the right to decide the gratuity, the forced gratuity should be illegal.

Bad, bad experience. First of all, the waitress had no idea what food they were serving. She made a mistake in explaining sashimi and my son ended up having saw fish slices. We asked for 2 different dishes to have spicy level of 1 and 3. But when food came, they were both as spicy as 3. When we complained about it, she just confirmed she did order them correctly. I will not recommend this restaurant at all.
(1)
Nancy H.
We had limited expectations, but we really were in the mood for what they had to offer. My man had the red curry with shrimp. It came with a little bowl of "chicken noodle" soup (Thai style), which was vey tasty if not quite warm enough. The curry was tasty, and quite hot for only "two chilis". 5 shrimp were in the bowl. I had the S3 combo of sushi and sashimi, all of which were fresh and beautifully presented. It came with miso soup, which wasn't quite warm enough, but on a hot day, who cares? Worth going back. No bike rack outside.

I was dying for pad thai n theirs was just yummmm. But... Wife ordered sushi that was really sloppy in presentation. Spicy california rolls were tasty but were falling a part n the service was kinda sloppy too. But the atmosphere was nice... 3.5 stars

Decent food but don't expect the spicy rated dishes to be very spicy. This is Key West where America comes to drink lite beer, after all. You can safely eat the wasabi with a spoon.

Worst service ever. I came by this restaurant during my cruise and I have never ever in my life ever encountered by the worst server ever..on the menu states that there may be a charge of 17% grat. So what does that mean? The server gets to choose if he want to grat someone? I went to go eat with a group of four people and we order. Food was alright but the server was just plain rude. He didn't seem like he wanted to wait on us. Well he served us our drink after like twenty min later. Then brought out our food. He didn't bother to ask can I get you anything else he dropped off the food and walked away. We ate our food and we needed refills. He didn't bother to come to our table once so we just sat there. And finally he comes back gives out check. The check was about 45dollars. And my sister pays with her credit card. Little did we know when he brought back the check he put a tip amount of 8 dollars so he charged her card 50 without telling her. Isn't that illegal? Well we asked him why did you grat us and he told us cause we had more then two people. So I ask this couple right next to us if he grat them and he didn't. Why because of their race? Did this server judge us by the way we look? This server was a white man and gave us dirty looks. Then a manager came out and of course we were upset. Our server didn't serve us. Didn't seem to care about us so why did he grat us? The manager said that we don't have to pay the tip. Um the server already charges her card! Well the server got upset and started cocking an attitude and was like I did serve you. I gave you guys drinks...wow...he ended up giving eight dollars to us from his tip money. This is by far the WORST place I ever been to. Do NOT go here.

Happened to see this restaurant when we parked our car on the street next to it, so we gave it a try but left only with disappointment. We had basil beef and ginger snapper. The basil beef didn't have a basil taste, only 2 piecesof basil leaves in it. The snapper was deep fried and it tasted dry, and the portion was so small, not worth its price at $19.99 at all. The weird thing to me was - a rotten veggie taste in the dish, reminded my dining experience on a boat on Mekong river in Thailand, everything was not sanitized and made me feel sick afterwards. The waitress wasn't nice either, never came back to refill the drink or checked us, but when she handed us the bill, there was a 17% gratuity charged already. Definitely not recommend it to others unless you are desperated for some Asian food in Key West.

This place was like the Thai version of Denny's. It's functional, as they do serve thai-style food, but it's certainly nothing magical. The atmosphere is plastic tables, plastic chairs, the food is edible, but the portions are minimal, the prices are excessive, and overall it was really underwhelming. I'd keep on walking and find a different place.

never never go there the food was just ok but too expensive. I ordered the seafood combo which is $20 but has very limited seafood in it. Most impotantlythe service was VERY VERY BADWe asked our waiter to separate our check, that guy refused us and said "DON'T YOU SEE HOW BUSY I AM?!" anyway, DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!

This place use to be great, good food and reasonable prices. No more. They totally screwed up our orders, dishes that were supposed to be spicy were not and vs versa. Their dinner prices have crept up and $5 for a Bud ! To many other great places on KW to eat.

Don't try it because of the bad service. I waited for more than 20 minutes to get my dish since my friends started eating. And waiters and waitress are VERY coldly!

I just have to bump the other yelpers in support of Thai Cuisine, KW. Why? here it is: + I am a sushi freek.....no matter whether at home or traveling. If you have a considerable appetite/want for sushi - and if in KW - give Thai Cuisine a go. And don't go with a pronounced attitude; by doing so, and going-with-the-flow, you should be well served and satisfied here. I have had such courtesy and satisfaction while in KW for the past four years. + Not great for kids but still....you are on vacation.....wife, kids, friends, OK. You will see all at Tahi Cuisine. + Outdoor seating.....bigger tables for bigger families or groups. + Prices are just fine. Presentations are well done. Saki options are good. + Unproved but offered here nonetheless: I doubt there is a better dining opportunity for simple (and consistent) sushi menus in KW.

I got takeaway from the Thai cuisine and i was really excited to treat myself with sushi. It was in par with grocery store sushi, i cannot tell you how disappointed i was. The year previous we did a very large order of take out and it was quite pleasant; not use if the chef or management has changed since then but i would not give it another chance based on the price and disappointment. People and places have off days but when you are an established business there is very little room for poorly tasting and served food.

I was on vacation in the Keys, like most people are. And we were really hungry and ended up at this thai place. There were so many things going wrong. The food was horrible (both sushi and thai), it was outrageously expensive for such mediocre food, the plates were dirty, and we were surprised charged for gratuity TO FILL OUT OWN CUPS OF WATER. The most irritating thing was when the man was passing out the plates to us, I was examining mine and he said to me "don't worry it's not dirty it just looks like that" but I legit peeled off dry pieces of masago off of it.

This place gave me food poisoning. Enough said. If I could give it 0 stars I would.

OMG!!! This is terrible. What they call sushi is a huge chunk of mushi rice with barely fish. Other roll that I didn't finish is just because the fish on top was FROZEN. Then for my surprise they put half of bottle of sarachi souce on top, btw, old and the food club brand, that taste like . I was thinking of post some pics but they are kind of disgusting. Shame on me for not take the advice of the previous ratings and comments. Forgot to mention $2.50 for a can of soda. WHAT!!!!!!.

Decent food but horrible service. We waited over twenty minutes after asking for our check for them to bring a check with errors. The manager wasn't helpful when I asked for assistance. There are better places to go in key west.

Service wasn't good. Waiter was a bit of a dipstick. Food was ok my wife had a yellow curry which she said was pretty good. I had the ginger duck and it was so-so. The worst thing was they automatically added 17% gratuity to our bill. When I asked why they said they did that with any bill over $50. As the waiter had not been very attentive and the service was pretty poor I told them to take it off and I would add the tip. Which they did without argument. Overall not a good experience and at $71 before tip a little more than I think justified.

Really bad service from a European waitress who seemed happy to displease. Pass on this place.

Stopped here with RJ on our way out of Key West after the Fantasy Fest parade. They were fine with what we were wearing, or not wearing! We ordered shumai dumplings, and I ordered the Sashimi appetizer 9 pieces of tuna, salmon and white tuna. RJ ordered the Spider roll and I think a Tiger roll. The dumplings were fantastic, as was my sashimi. RJ enjoyed his sushi rolls but neither of us could finish and took it home. It was not very good at all the next day, unfortunately. The service was friendly and fast.

Pros: Open late, super friendly and polite South African waiter, nice beer selection, good pork gyoza, breezy and nice outdoor seating area. Cons: A couple of loud and inappropriate drunk customers, food was ok but not stellar, could have used more flavor.

Came here while visiting Key West. It's a nice location, as you get to sit outside and people watch. But too bad I didn't like the food here. I ordered the Red Curry Chicken and it was very bland. Maybe I'm spoiled from eating at great Thai restaurants in NYC. I was expecting a lot better. I also tried the Thai Iced Tea and it was a big mistake. Tasted like watered down milk. No thanks.

Worst place for lunch - served chicken in veg dumplings, gave dinner portions at 2:30 when it was meant to be lunch and then terrible attitude when asked to correct the bill. Maya sucks but at least the manager fixed the bill finally.

60 bucks for the worst "Thai" food ever. Wish I had checked Yelp before losing my money for a crispy duck, which unfortunately died for nothing (or even worse)!! :(((

This place was okay. The Thai food is not the best thing to order. The sushi was great though. They did mess up some of the orders and that's because they don't speak English very well , which is important when ordering food. Overall, we are so laid back and were so hungry that we just let it be. But I understand all the bad reviews. She also forgot a lot of things and I had to ask 2/3 times. A couple of things I just decided not to ask for again. Oh well

We stopped here for lunch while cruising around Key West on our bikes, and had an A-OK experience! I spotted it the evening before, and as a bit of a Thai food fanatic, I knew we had to stop by the next day. The patio was almost empty, and I loved lunching in the breeze while people watching. Service was just alright. Our server wasn't rude, but he wasn't personable either. While we were waiting for our food, we could see him eating his lunch through the window... which wouldn't have bothered me that much, but he stopped mid-lunch to bring our food out and it just seemed a little odd. Luckily he didn't touch the food, just the plates, but watching someone wipe their mouth before bringing out what you're eating just doesn't get your appetite going. The food was also just alright. The pad Thai is probably the way to go... Flavor and consistency were on point, and the tofu was cooked well. It came as a lunch special so we got some yummy tofu noodle soup with it. The crispy spring rolls can probably be skipped because there's nothing too remarkable about them. My yellow curry was good, but seriously lacked flavor. Luckily I had sriracha handy which really spiced it up! Stop by for lunch if you're craving Thai while in Key West, but it seems like there are much better options around.

It's a small hole in the wall the wall. Not fancy. The basil shrimp was actually very tasty Stay away from the wonton and spring rolls....yuck. The Thai Iced Tea was very watered down. The lady next to us had the pad Thai and she lived it. So it's a gamble on the meals.

Sadly we can't post negative star reviews. This was the.worst.meal we have experienced in the whole of Key West, both cuisine and service, and we have been here on many a cruise. Dishes were dirty, service was inattentive and brusque. The soup was flavorless and lukewarm. The sushi rice was overcooked and the ingredients were lousy. We had to ask for our check several times and ended up waiting nearly 25 minutes to pay. Another table near us was having the same problems and had to literally throw a fit to get their check. The best part of the meal? When we finally got out. The peanuts at the nearby CVS were delicious. Avoid this place at all costs.

This restaurant has a great outdoor seating area; however, if you want fried rice that has been actually fried, avoid this place. The veggie dumplings were the worst we had ever had (no joke), the green salad came in a large tall bowl with no real way to mix the dressing with the salad, and the fried rice was basically Minute rice with fried veggies in it. Staff were very friendly, but food is below average.
(2)
Sandra C.
Service was prompt and friendly. The food was well seasoned and in large quantity. I really enjoyed the thom ka gai soup. We enjoyed this as much as the more expensive thai restaurants we tried in Key West.

The service was great and quick. I was a bit disappointed with the food, but I was hungry and I ate it. I love oriental cuisine and settled on this when we couldn't find Garbo's Grill(only open at lunch and on a completely different street I might add). Honestly, I'll probably try somewhere different if I'm back in Key West and craving Thai food.

This was our first trip with our new baby. As it got later, the baby became more tired and cranky. Out of desperation, we ducked into the first restaurant in order to get takeout to bring back to the hotel. As it turned out it was the Thai Cuisine. We ordered the pad see ewe and the Basil Pork. It was delicious! I then decided to write a review here on Yelp and was surprised to see all of the negative reviews. Now I'm wondering if we just got lucky. The two dishes that we ordered came to $32. I guess in retrospect, it is a bit high. Due to the cranky baby issue, I didn't bother to see if the 17% gratuity was added into the bill. Oh well, I'm on vacation. Maybe the key is to order it to go, since the chief complaints are with the service.

DO NOT GO I have never had such bad thai food before in my life. I'm waiting to see if I have food poisoning right now, I left the restaurant only twenty minutes ago. Chicken Satay - OK Veggie Gyoza - Blegh Lobster Pad Thai - ........BIOHAZARD, RAW LOBSTER. This restaurant seriously needs to increase the quality of ingredients and food preparation. Right now, I believe there may be some health risk involved with this food. A few simple adjustments to how the restaurant is run and it could be a 5 star venue, but the quality was too low to tolerate. I tried my hardest to enjoy the food, I would have sent it back in an angry huff, but my mom recommended I do that, I naturally I had to eat my plate. By the time we left, my napkin was full of food that I spit out. Too gross.

The food was alright but the service was unacceptable. The people who take the order were disrespectful. When we asked if a dish serves 2, the waiter sarcastically tells it serves 5 which pissed us off. When we were cross checking the bill, the guy comes and tells us that the restaurant is expensive. We, a group of 5 got entirely pissed off for that behavior. The food is also overpriced but I like the veg spring rolls and veg fried rice. If the people are well behaved, then it might be a good restaurant.

Sorry, just wasn't that great. Peanut Sauce looked like crew of coconut with ground peanuts mixed in. Thom yum gai was terrible, it would have been worth the mile walk to go to the higher rated Thai.

First off all .... Let me say the service sucks!!! Maybe they don't care because they get lots of visitors. We order papaya salad to go and asked the waiter to make sure they use fresh chile peppers and make it as hot as you can. He said sure. Waited about 20 minutes for a salad. Once the salad came out i open the box ... I was so so disappointed. It look pathetic. They did not use the fresh chili peppers they just put dry crush chop peppers. The waiter took it back and say ... I will make them put fresh peppers in them. Within 30 second he came back out with the salad. WTF ... I know it's not right. Asked to speak to the manager and his response was I don't have time for this. I was upset . Left $20 bill and walk off. The salad was around $8 or $9 but too upset to am wait for my change. Never again. Took one bite and it wAs in the trash.

Holy shit DO NOT GO!!!! Yelp has not been extremely reliable on 4 star above restaurant but rarely failed on the low-bees. I made my mistake not to check the place before I decide key west would've gotten better Thai food than middle of no where where I live. Totally mistaken. Arrived around opening time, one couple were already seated. We decided to sit outside - waitress was totally monotoned but oh well. December Florida sun did get hot and I wasn't able to sit at one of the seat so we tried to get hold of her, completely ignorant. We moved ourself since no one was really around, that "lady" came back and demanded us to move back as a new big group of family is coming in. Hello, we sat here for 5 mins already, not a single drop of water served, and now you are telling me to move my ass back to the hot sun? No thanks. I said no, she walked away with "u are so uneducated" face. Oh well, she did that to everyone as we later noticed, as if she was the only person knows the shit. Thank god this girl was not the one actually serving us. The boy took forever to came and greet us but he did. We got fried wings, drunken noodle which I asked for 5 stars hot (he checked 3 times to make sure I was not nuts) and roasted duck. Wing came at reasonable speed, actually tastes pretty good. I became a little more hopeful with this place. Another good half hour went by, while others who came in late half finished their food, we got our food - oh, nvm, wrong food. I couldn't grab the boy fast enough cuz he's prob too buy correcting peoples order. Duck became curry, later got exchanged, a little too floury but editable. Drunken noodle is fucking BLEND I had to ask for salt, and since I refuse to eat it my family finished, wait, it was not hot at all, and was that pad Thai?? Some one said Thai tea was water and milk, it wasn't that bad, but pretty damn close The boy came back again to check see if everything was okay - it was so crappy, I didn't even bother to start. I've never had any problem with any of Thai place I went in my life, this 60 bucks meal just BLEW my fXxxing mind.KW visitor, please, don't trust the ads on whatever pamphlet u see on the street, they don't mean shit!

Great pad Thai! Service was exceptional. The chef came out to ensure everything was to our Liking! Sashimi was ok , sushi rolls tasty and fresh Reasonable prices!

Worst food I've ever had. Don't go. The chicken teriyaki was actually just a mound of salty chicken kk

Food is okay. The waitress is not honest. Added 20% tips to the bill without telling us. Be careful...

Pretty bad thai food. It's a good thing they had siracha sauce or I would not have eaten my pad thai. My wife had the baby octupus appetizer and it was not good. Save your money.

Service was slow, fried rice was bland and contained random ingredients, but the LOBSTER ROLL was mind blowing!!!!! If you eat sushi rolls definitely try the Lobster Roll it was very delicious.

Just an FYI apparently they serve their edamame cold. The server had a long explanation about why it is now served near frozen. You have to ask for it warm.

Hmmm.... We came here because Garbo's was out of the Korean taco, forgot my phone, no help from yelp... we must do this on our own..... I got the lunch sashimi rice bowls and my hubs got the cashew chicken. My sashimi was awesome! it was $15.00. It was sooooo.... good and fresh! it was just what I needed! my hubs food was good, he would have preferred it to be more spicy, but he didn't ask for it (so if you like it spicy ask for it -could be due to the new waiter); I didn't knock off points for new waiter, he messed up a couple of time, but everyone has a first week. So you can imagine my shock when I saw the yelp reviews, come on yelpers....

The food was palatable, but certainly not memorable. The green curry was pretty bland and coconut-milky, while the pad thai was bland as well. Given the multitude of great restaurants around Key West, this place is probably not worth your time.

Service was horrible last night and they were not really crowded. After 30 minutes, we finally got a drink order for my friend and had placed an app order that did not show up. Never again...

We were in Key West for a weekend before a buddy of mine got married and we were walking down Duval street and decided to walk down one of the side streets and try Thai Cuisine. Here is my evaluation of this location: 1. Appearance: the restaurant looked clean on the outside and we nicely lit up. 2. Ambiance: as mentioned in #1, the lighting was great. There was indoor and outdoor seating and even at night the fans outside made it very comfortable to sit and eat. 3. Service: Placing our order: we ordered a number of items for a party of 6. The waitor was okay, there were some general questions we asked regarding the menu and he either did not know the menu well enough or did not understand us. We waited a decent amount of time for the food, it was not bad. Once the food started to come out there was some discrepancy on the order. Some of the food we ordered was no what we ordered. The waiter apologized and went back in - he stated that he wrote down the right thing, however, the kitchen messed up. The food tasted okay for sushi in Key West. I would visit again for a quick okay option. I gave this location 3 stars just because of the way they handled the order accuracy and then fixing the issue.

great, spicy delicious. the chef didn't really want to make it as mild as I like, but both our dishes were yum. the green papaya salad was quite bland & didn't taste quite right but perhaps that is a regional distinction. the servers took pride in explaining the dishes and the service was prompt. reasonable prices for key west as the portions were generous.

If I could give negative stars, I would. In a nutshell: terrible food - if you get it. Terrible service - you'll definitely get it. We went after a day about town with family from abroad, and we were greeted with 'Ok guys we're really busy.' That was the beginning of an evening of very unpalatable food and service. We all agreed that its not worth the wait and shoddy service. The bathrooms are filthy and so are the plates. Save your $$ and go elsewhere.

Probably the best food we ate during this trip to Key West. The location is great, just down from the Schooner Wharf and Dry Tortugas ferry and not yet to the streams of people along Duval. We had grabbed some pie at Kermit's and then headed over here for dinner and hopped to Duval to catch a pedicab back to the hotel at the end of the night. Simple. We sat right along the balustrade next to the sidewalk and people watched while we ate. Both my travel buddy and I had Thai dishes - a basil beef stir-fry and green curry with tofu - so I can't comment on the sushi. There is a menu of specials on appetizers that ends at 7:00 pm, which were good deals, but after pie we didn't partake. Three dollars for gyoza, for example. Prices on dinner were totally acceptable for Key West - I wouldn't call it cheap, but I'm not sure that exists down here. I like my food hot, so I asked our server to make it as hot as they would make it. He said they make it hot and he'd bring out chili flakes and sauce so I could adjust it as I liked. It wasn't quite to my lip-tingling, down-gallons-of-water standard, but was quite yummy. I added some of the chili flakes and the sweet chili sauce (house made) was good with the rice. Lots of green peppers and carrot matchsticks with some zucchini, bamboo shoots, basil leaves, and plenty of cubed tofu. A hearty portion, too. I finished about half the actual curry and the scoop of white rice. Service was good - he didn't hover but we had water when we were running low and weren't rushed coming up with a decision on our order. A couple of the staff greeted us when we walked up and we were allowed to pick any seats we liked. Works for me. Basically, I'm uncertain why so many reviewers feel this place is less than average. I'd go again.

Sushi was amazing! Have lived in Key West and finally decided to try it and was pleasantly surprised. Waiter was quick and very polite. I am coming back for sure.

Loved sweet and sour fried snapped and chicken satay. They deliver and it came in 30 minutes as promised. Chicken massaman curry got 3 stars from the bf.

Better than I expected. Price is a bargain considering the location. Food is comparable to average local Thai food. Will probably be back.

(2)Ganesh K.
(4)Troy B.

(4)Nitika K.
Pathetic is the only word I have for the food here. I love Thai food and know what good Thai is and this not NOT even Thai... It was shit loads of crap!!! Pleeeeeeeeeez do not eat here. I made the mistake of not listening to the other reviews... You don't have to.
(1)Martin J.
(3)Brady L.
(2)Shulagna A.

(1)Ryan C.
Not the best food or dining experience in Key West. The service was slow and poor and the food was average at best. Many of the waiters are Russian and lack a certain attitude that one expects at a restaurant in America.
(2)Beth D.
(3)Daniel S.
(1)Stephen P.
(1)U S.
Be prepared to wait for an hour. Really slow service. We waited for 50 mins at 9:30 pm at night.
(1)Ana R.
We were soo disapointed. We ordered a traditional thai soup that's supposed to come with chicken and coconut milk. The chicken was there and the water..that's it. We also ordered the sushi and sashimi combo. It was alright. The pieces were cut way too thick for our taste.
(2)Janelle M.
(3)Diana Q.
(3)Stephanie D.
Service was good and staff was very knowledgeable. Had a great meal and would say give it a try!
(4)Mark K.
Great food, great service, nice atmosphere - outside with good people-watching. Plus, I left my credit card there and when I called they were very nice and willing to mail it to me.
(4)Brenda P.
Honestly, it was the only place that was open and we were starving. Why does everything in Key West close so early? Everything was just average to less than average. Maybe because we sat towards the end of the night? We were told basically to order because the cook had to go home. Really? Never again.
(2)Ilona P.
Service was ok. Food was a bit salty. But the part that made me angry: a 17% gratuity added on to the bill! There were only 2 of us and the check was on about $52. Bulls**t! I'm never going back.
(1)Jacob S.
Tacky.
(1)Rahil S.
Pathetic place!!!! Very bad hospitality. Rating -negative. Never coming back to this restaurant ever again.
(1)Tony J.
This is some expensive sushi, but man it was good. I mean I expect the high prices because we are right in the heart of Key West, but wow. If you go here, expect to pay at least $12 for a good roll of sushi. However, it will be worth it because it was very delicious.
(3)Daniel H.
Food was ok, Service was ok, but they have a forced gratuity which i think is cheating. i should have the right to decide the gratuity, the forced gratuity should be illegal.
(1)Jessie S.
(1)Nancy H.
(3)Hamza M.
I was dying for pad thai n theirs was just yummmm. But... Wife ordered sushi that was really sloppy in presentation. Spicy california rolls were tasty but were falling a part n the service was kinda sloppy too. But the atmosphere was nice... 3.5 stars
(3)Duane D.
Decent food but don't expect the spicy rated dishes to be very spicy. This is Key West where America comes to drink lite beer, after all. You can safely eat the wasabi with a spoon.
(3)Brenda L.
(1)Joy Y.
(1)Andy B.
(2)Leo K.
never never go there the food was just ok but too expensive.
(1)John S.
This place use to be great, good food and reasonable prices. No more. They totally screwed up our orders, dishes that were supposed to be spicy were not and vs versa. Their dinner prices have crept up and $5 for a Bud ! To many other great places on KW to eat.
(1)Fang L.
Don't try it because of the bad service. I waited for more than 20 minutes to get my dish since my friends started eating. And waiters and waitress are VERY coldly!
(1)Steve L.
(4)Jackie A.
People?! What are you waiting for?! This place is amazing!!!! Omg with this hole in the wall is all you need
(5)Mathew G.
(1)Kelli N.
(1)Leslie R.
This place gave me food poisoning. Enough said. If I could give it 0 stars I would.
(1)Miguel A.
WHAT!!!!!!.
(1)Burney S.
Got the tuna sashimi. .it smelled real fishy Didn't eat anything. . sushi that smells like fish is bait
(1)Jillian K.
Decent food but horrible service. We waited over twenty minutes after asking for our check for them to bring a check with errors. The manager wasn't helpful when I asked for assistance. There are better places to go in key west.
(1)Chris A.

Had Sushi, soup and Pad Thai, everything was delicious and the waitress was very nice, authentic nice.... ;-) Been here quite a few times before, was never disappointed!

Pros: Open late, super friendly and polite South African waiter, nice beer selection, good pork gyoza, breezy and nice outdoor seating area. Cons: A couple of loud and inappropriate drunk customers, food was ok but not stellar, could have used more flavor.

Just finished a day of Fury water adventure and dined here for an early dinner because lunch on the boat is crap. Compare to that the food here is good enough.

Wonderful sushi restaurant. Didn't try the Thai but the sushi came in a large quantity and it was scrumptious.

(2)Sandra C.
Service was prompt and friendly. The food was well seasoned and in large quantity. I really enjoyed the thom ka gai soup. We enjoyed this as much as the more expensive thai restaurants we tried in Key West.
(4)Brandon R.

I wish there was a way to give 0 stars. We ordered Thai food and it was horrible. Please do not eat here...go anywhere else...eat pizza maybe
(1)Shelley B.

(4)Nicole N.
Worst food I've ever had. Don't go. The chicken teriyaki was actually just a mound of salty chicken kk
(1)Z J.
Food is okay. The waitress is not honest. Added 20% tips to the bill without telling us. Be careful...
(1)Manny N.
Pretty bad thai food. It's a good thing they had siracha sauce or I would not have eaten my pad thai. My wife had the baby octupus appetizer and it was not good. Save your money.
(2)Dorselle M.
Service was slow, fried rice was bland and contained random ingredients, but the LOBSTER ROLL was mind blowing!!!!! If you eat sushi rolls definitely try the Lobster Roll it was very delicious.
(4)Kiersten F.
Just an FYI apparently they serve their edamame cold. The server had a long explanation about why it is now served near frozen. You have to ask for it warm.
(2)Hohan H.
(4)Manu V.
The food was palatable, but certainly not memorable. The green curry was pretty bland and coconut-milky, while the pad thai was bland as well. Given the multitude of great restaurants around Key West, this place is probably not worth your time.
(2)Charles S.

Food - mediocre Service - good Location-awesome Ambience - good Price - overrated
(2)Mick J.

(4)Karen Y.
Better than I expected. Price is a bargain considering the location. Food is comparable to average local Thai food. Will probably be back.
